Wars on Shores is an alternative rock band based out of Tsawwassen BC. We have been playing venues around Vancouver for about 7 years now and we are fired up to be a part of the Barnside Harvest Festival lineup this year!

Our sound features powerful vocals and harmonies accompanied by captivating guitar riffs. Our bass and drums lock in the groove as we complete our sound with expressive e-piano.There is meaning and intention behind our songwriting, we aim to tap into your emotions with stories of good times, overcoming struggle, and love. The wars in your mind, on the shores of your life.

The majority of what we play is original music which has a diverse range of influences from Modern Rock, Blues Rock, Pop, & Reggae. Naturally we include some covers in our setlist from Sublime, The Glorious Sons, Tom Petty, John Mayer, & The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

As music lovers ourselves we cherish the art of live performance. We look forward to leaving everything we have on the stage and bringing everyone together in the summer sunshine.

With training and work experience in Marketing, Event Management and Architecture along with being an International Sailing Coach for the past ten years I have been afforded the opportunity to work alongside many inspiring individuals and groups.

With this experience I came to realise my passion and strengths are within creating and building relationships as well as realizing an idea or team's potential and helping them present that potential to prospective clients both visually and verbally.

I am always looking for a challenge and for the opportunity to help an individual or team bring an idea/dream to fruition!
