Uncle Strut is a Vancouver-based indie band blending surf-infused indie pop with vintage rock nostalgia, drawing comparisons to Spacey Jane, Ocean Alley, and The Beach Boys. Formed by singer/guitarist Tyson McNamara, bassist Simon Tejani, and drummer Quincy Flowers, the group quickly rose from dive bar gigs to sold-out shows at venues like the Hollywood Theatre, sharing stages with acts like the Goo Goo Dolls and George Thorogood. With the recent addition of guitarist Jasper Matthias, they’re set to release their debut album Home At Last on May 16, 2025. The album weaves sunny Australian surf rock with '60s psychedelia and classic pop sensibilities, anchored by the infectious single Waiting For You. Uncle Strut will support the release with a Canadian tour spanning BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.

With training and work experience in Marketing, Event Management and Architecture along with being an International Sailing Coach for the past ten years I have been afforded the opportunity to work alongside many inspiring individuals and groups.

With this experience I came to realise my passion and strengths are within creating and building relationships as well as realizing an idea or team's potential and helping them present that potential to prospective clients both visually and verbally.

I am always looking for a challenge and for the opportunity to help an individual or team bring an idea/dream to fruition!
